MANY ARMY LOST THEIR LIVES DURING THE ATTACK OF MILF

MANILA, Philippines – A military spokesman on Monday said the Moro Islamic Liberation Front (MILF) broke a truce agreement when they launched fresh attacks in Basilan and Lanao del Norte on Sunday.
Lt. Col. Randolph Cabangbang, spokesman of the Western Mindanao Command (WesMinCom), said the MILF fighters who conducted the twin attacks, which left 8 dead and 12 injured, were not informed of the agreement reached upon by the two sides on Saturday night.
The agreement comes in the wake of the consecutive attacks of members of the MILF in Al-Barka town in Basilan and Zamboanga Sibugay last week. Cabangbang explained the agreement was reached through the Ad Hoc Joint Action Group (AHJAG).
Six persons were killed in an ambush by suspected MILF fighters from the 114th Base Command in Sumisip, Basilan on Sunday morning.
The Task Force Basilan said 5 Tumahubong Agrarian Reform Beneficiaries Integrated Development Cooperative employees and 1 CAFGU were killed while 7 civilians and 1 CAFGU were injured in the attack.
The attack in Barangay Payong, Sultan Naga Dimaporo in Lanao del Norte, meanwhile, left 2 soldiers killed and 4 others injured.
Cabangbang explained that despite the truce, the military will still continue to pursuit lawless elements who belong to the separatist group.

Disaster

    • An unforeseen event causing great loss, upset or unpleasantness of whatever kind.

The powers of nature are certainly awesome. When they are unleashed we sit up and take notice. Because of the power, and because of the destruction that often happens, we usually ask that basic philosophical question: Why? Why did this happen? What does this mean?
We always look for meaning in what occurs that is out of the ordinary because we intuitively sense that everything must have a purpose. And if it has a purpose we want to know what purpose it has for us individually as well as collectively. Applying the purpose to our own lives is what we call ‘meaning.’ It must mean something to us or else it has no purpose for us.
Meaning is subjective, not objective. It is an interpretation based on facts, but it is not factual. Everyone can interpret the facts for themselves and say that this is what it means to them. That is a totally valid approach. Giving a meaning to something is interpreting it in a way that touches the soul and reveals something of the intelligence, love or power of life that motivates a person to live more in alignment with reality or truth.

HOW LONG WILL YOU WAIT FOR TRUE LOVE?

I mean, will you eventually decide that while true love comes you must try with girls or boys even though you may not be deeply in love with them. Obviously, not lying to them, and not hurting their feelings.

True Love Waits challenges teenagers and college student to make a commitment to sexual abstinence until marriage. Through a variety of resources, student will be encouraged with moral purity by adhering to biblical
    principles.

5 COMMITMENT FOR TRUE LOVE WAITS
    1. To God : Matt. 22:37
    2. To Yourself: Matt. 22:39
    3. To Family: Phil.: 4:5
    4. To Friends: John 15: 13
    5. To Future mate and children: 2Timothy 2: 22

I believe that our hearts are precious in the eyes of our Father, and that the love story He is preparing for us is far sweeter and more wonderful than anything we have planned for ourselves. Thus, relying on His grace alone, we are committed to remaining sexually and emotionally pure as we wait for the right person and the right time.

    "True love never dies
for it is lust that fades away.
    Love bonds for a lifetime
    but lust just pushes away."

    WHY DO PEOPLE MARRY?

If you ask a dozen friends those two questions and ask them to write their answers privately how many different answer do you think would receive? Here are some of the responses I've received from both singles and married.

    • SEX
    • COMPANIONSHIP
    • LOVE
    • TO PROVIDE A HOME FOR CHILDREN
    • SOCIAL ACCEPTANCE
    • ECONOMIC ADVANTAGE
    • SECURITY

To fully respond to these question, we need to look through the eyes of faith, seeking God's wisdom. And in the Bible, we see a much different picture. Beginning with Genesis, the first book of the bible where we read the creation story, we find that God's idea of marriage is the blending of two lives in the deepest possible way into a new unit that will both satisfy the individuals involved and served the purpose of God in the highest possible manner.
The supreme purpose of marriage is the union of two individuals at the deepest possible level and in all areas, which in turn brings the greatest possible sense of fulfillment to the couple and at the same time serves best the purposes of God for their lives.
